This morning we visited our friends at the Northside’s Fighting Words–an organization committed to bringing the power of creative writing and storytelling to children and youth throughout Dublin City. They were kind enough to have us in for a group workshop.

Together we drafted a story rife with drama. Think: teenage romance, sibling rivalry, and a motorcycle! From our jointly crafted opening scenes (and the fast, incomparable accompanying illustrations created on site), we had the opportunity to come up with our own endings. Our stories ended with laughter, tears, and excitement passed between friends.

We were very grateful for our visit!
