We started our day infiltrating the campus of Trinity College for a bit of creative espionage, AKA character stalking: using the tourists, students, and other sundry figures as inspiration for fictional embellishment. Happy to report no students got “made,” and we came away with plenty of raw material to polish up in the coming days.
After taking down some high-piled plates of curry, we met up with longtime friend of the program and Irish dance guru, Mary Beth Taylor, who taught our group some basics of Irish social dancing. What we lack in expertise, we more than made up for in enthusiasm. Go us.
Such a productive day calls for the Icy Hot of dinners: ramen and local Irish ice cream. A sweet end to a sweet Monday.
