This morning we trekked out to Glasnevin Cemetery for a historic two-parter: a considerable climb up Daniel O’Connell’s recently renovated round tower for some 360° views of Dublin, and a terrifically informative tour highlighting some of the cemetery’s most famous residents. The rain held out long enough for us to take down sticky toffee puddings at a local café, and mosey through the orchid room at Ireland’s Botanic gardens. We’re well-fed, informed, inspired.
